Jennifer has many stories to tell from her time in the entertainment industry, including when she received a phone call from Q-Tip singing De La Soul’s “Jenifa Taught Me” (definitely NSFW!).
She currently enjoys taking cooking classes with her husband, watching reality television (and is not ashamed to admit it!), and playing with her Australian Labradoodle, Sir Oliver Hopper Fluffypants.
Jennifer began her career in entertainment at the William Morris Agency in both New York and Los Angeles. She leveraged her MBA from Stanford GSB to shift direction and focus on marketing. While at Creative Artists Agency, she worked with clients such as Harley-Davidson and Coca-Cola—companies renowned for their incredible brand loyalty—which ignited her passion for strong brand marketing.
Throughout her career, Jennifer honed her skills in branding, positioning, and storytelling while working for companies such as Warner Bros., Annenberg Foundation, Vubiquity (entertainment tech), and DocMagic (fintech). Now, she leverages those same skills to help her clients navigate the admissions process—with a focus on identifying their key differentiators and knowing how to express them powerfully to admissions committees.
There is nothing more satisfying than being of service, which is one of the key reasons I love helping candidates through the process of applying to business school. It can be difficult as an individual to look back at your life experiences and see that threads that tie your story together. Sharing what makes you unique across all aspects of your application is a feat, and I love helping to bring together the pieces through a compelling narrative.
